I teach Academic Assistance as well as Personal Finance & Practical Math for Everyday Living, where I focus on helping students build confidence through real-world skills and meaningful learning experiences. I came to teaching later in life after a rewarding career as a dental assistant, along with work in catering and event planning, and running my own home interior sewing business. These experiences shape the hands-on, practical approach I bring to my classroom every day where I can share my love of learning and help students develop skills they can use throughout their lives. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking with my dog, reading, sewing, and traveling with my children.
