My name is Leigh Ann Sandal, and I am a Student Service Teacher here at Wood River High School. I relocated to the valley in 2006 from Whidbey Island, Washington, and have been proud to call this community home ever since.

With 26 years of experience in remedial and special education, ranging from elementary to high school. I am passionate about helping students find their unique path to success. I earned my B.A. in Psychology and my teaching certification from Western Washington University, and I also hold a Master’s in Education with a K-12 Reading Endorsement.

When I’m not in the classroom, I’m usually exploring the outdoors. I enjoy hiking and Nordic skiing, and I love nothing more than heading out on camping trips or traveling with my family.
