Madeline Muschamp
My name is Madeline Muschamp, and I became a vice principal at Wood River High School during the 2021–2022 school year. I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and earned my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History in 2013. I began my career teaching middle school in New Mexico and have since taught in both Colorado and Idaho.
I moved to Idaho in the summer of 2015 and spent six years teaching high school history at Middleton High School. During my time at Middleton, I attended the University of Idaho, where I earned my master’s degree in Educational Leadership and obtained my school administrative licensure. One year later, I continued my professional growth by pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho, through which I earned my Superintendent and Special Education Director licensure.
In the summer of 2016, I met my now husband while he was stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base. He has since retired from the military after completing 20 years of service and now works from home as a software engineer.
I have truly loved my time at Wood River High School and look forward to continuing to be an active part of the Wood River community. In our free time, my husband and I enjoy taking advantage of all the great opportunities the Wood River Valley has to offer with our two dogs, Ladybird and Lucy.
