I’m an English Language Development teacher at WRHS, co-teaching with content teachers in a variety of classes including English Language Arts, U.S. History, and Computer Applications. I also teach a class that offers an alternative pathway to ELA credits for English Language Learners. I hope to make education accessible for students working in a second language. I have extensive experience of teaching language learners after extended sojourns in the Czech Republic, South Korea, and Spain. I hold a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a PhD in Second Language Learning from the University of Nottingham (UK). I live in Hailey with my twin 6th grade girls and look forward to the summers for backpacking and peak-bagging.
