I grew up in Southern California, and have been traveling to the Wood River Valley since I was 4 years old. I moved here permanently in 2004. I received my bachelors, masters and teaching degree from UCLA. I have been teaching for 31 years.

I have been married for 30 years and we have 3 children, ages 27, 25 and 22. My oldest lives and works in the Wood River Valley, my middle child is getting his Masters in Economics at the University of Tokyo, and my youngest is graduating from Gonzaga in May. We have a yellow lab named Bo who is actually our 4th child!
