Heidi Kaminski

I am lucky to call the Wood River Valley home. I was raised in Ketchum and attended Ernest Hemingway, Wood River Jr. High and finally, Wood River High School (GO WOLVERINES). I attended the University of Utah and graduated with a Social Work degree and a minor in Minority Studies. We raised our family in Salt Lake City and Ogden Valley and then made the move back to Idaho in 2010. Both of our kids graduated from WRHS and Boise State University. We live on 5 acres and have 2 horses, two dogs, one crazy cat and a rescue rabbit. My hobbies/passions are watercolor painting, training and riding horses, hiking, camping, lounging at REDFISH, and spending time with my family. I enjoy working with and mentoring HS students and am known for looking at the positive. My classroom is full of postive quotes from students from 2018 to present. My favorites: "Success is falling 9 times and getting up 10," Jon Bon Jovi and "Try and be a rainbow is someone elses cloud," Maya Angelo. :)
