Tristan graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman in the fall of 2012 after completing his Teacher Candidacy in Wellington, New Zealand. He has bounced around the world a tad bit to Weno, Micronesia and Yaak, Montana before settling in the Wood River Valley in 2015.

Since arriving in southern Idaho he has become enthralled with exploring the Pios whether it be by foot or on his split-board. He also enjoys exploring the Ents territory of the world, especially the forest of Tom Bombadil with his wife and two young children.
