I am a WRHS alumni and was inspired by the teachers in BCSD to become a teacher myself. I earned degrees in Spanish and Linguistics at the University of Nevada, Reno. After college I traveled the world and lived and worked in various countries, including studying Spanish in Spain and teaching English in South Korea.

I am qualified to teach both Spanish and English as a New Language in grades 6-12. I have been teaching Spanish at WRHS since 2014, and I love it! This year I will earn my Master's degree in Education: Language, Literacy, and Culture.

My students inspire me daily; I am a life-long learner and value the new experiences and knowledge I gain every day at school. In my free time I dance (hip-hop and zumba), do yoga, snowboard, ski, and spend time with my boys.
