My name is Andrew Crist, and I am happy to be a teacher in the math department here at WRHS.

I have been teaching secondary math well over a decade. I take pride in knowing that I have worked hard in understanding the horizontal and vertical alignment of the Idaho Content Standards in Mathematics.

I hold a B.S. in Business Finance from the University of Idaho, as well as Graduate Certificate in Mathematical Thinking for Instruction and a M.A in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University.

I am a lifelong Idaho resident and I have enjoyed my 12 years living, teaching, and raising a family in Blaine County. As typical Idahoans, my family and I love all things outdoors and everything Idaho and the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

I am inspired by constant improvement and greatness. A quote that resonates with me professionally is one from Albert Einstein that says, "Do not worry about your difficulties in mathematics. I can assure you mine are greater."

To me, this quote means that it doesn't matter what topic or subject you are working at improving, there is always another level to achieve. This motivates me to continue working towards a growth mindset in all areas of life.
