Hello! My name is Kate Breloff, and I am a member of the wonderful Visual Arts Department at Wood River High School. I teach Intro to Art, Studio Art, and Ceramics 1. I am also involved with the Outdoor Leadership and Art Clubs.

I grew up in Northeast Ohio; however, I had the opportunity to spend four years in Burlington, Vermont, attending the University of Vermont. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education. After graduation, I was thrilled at the chance to move across the country for a Pre-K to 5th-grade art job at Bellevue Elementary School. After 5 years of mess and memory-making at BES, I spent a year on sabbatical, traveling and growing my art business. In 2019, I returned from my travels and joined the staff at Wood River Middle School. After 5 fulfilling years at the WRMS, I jumped at the opportunity to make the move to WRHS.
My own artwork is inspired by observations in nature and an exploration of place. Surrounded by endless inspiration, I am constantly growing and evolving my artistic practice.

When I am not making (or teaching) art, I love exploring and being outdoors. I fill my free time with climbing, skiing, snowboarding, biking, backpacking, and lounging by rivers with pen and paper or a good book.
